Here's a few pictures of the apartment my fiancé and I just rented. He's going to live there in a couple weeks with a roommate, and then I'll move there when we get married. It's really small, although the pictures from the outside make it look bigger. It's a really good price though, pretty good location, and it has this awesome rooftop patio that we get all to ourselves. A couple friends have already started planning parties there, or said they're looking forward to our housewarming party.

It's right in the middle of the really busy market neighborhood, so the streets are really busy and noisy during the day. However, I didn't really notice it being noisy at all in the apartment because it's so much higher. It's also in a very Muslim neighborhood, which will be interesting.

The kitchen isn't equipped at all except for a sink, but it's big so I can set it up with stuff and have a nice big kitchen which I'm excited about because it's really hard to find kitchens in Congolese houses that are big enough for a stove and a fridge...and this one has such an awesome view!

Is there a mosque close by to your place that plays the call to prayer very loudly at 5 in the morning?
I was wondering the same thing! ;^)
Hey, if your kitchen comes equipped with a sink, you're doing pretty well! Here "unfurnished" means you'll have to get your own sinks, interior doors and toilet seat...and probably light fixtures, too. Your home is beautiful and I love the view!!!
